Greene County Activities Director Todd Gordon told Raccoon Valley Radio the home quadrangular meet that’s been postponed twice will not be made up. Head Coach Zach Beekman said COVID-19 concerns are playing a big role in whether teams all over, not just Greene County, wrestle outside their practice rooms as the postseason nears. “We just want to get to that postseason, to have these guys get a chance to be State qualifiers, to be District qualifiers, to be State place winners.”
The coach added, “In a normal season, we probably wouldn’t question it. We’d try to get it in and it wouldn’t be a big deal, but when you’re looking at if someone were to have a potential exposure, you’re talking 10 days. So, we’re trying to really play things safe right now.” Greene County is just 11 days from today from the Class 2A postseason starting when they’ll go to Woodward-Granger High School in Woodward for a Sectional tournament.
