Panorama High School Senior Reagan Gibson is one of 11 candidates for the Iowa Pork Youth Leadership Team, which will be determined this evening at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.

Gibson will be judged in six different areas: personal interview (20 points), three to five minute speech (25 points), mock media interview (20 points), personal presentation (20 points), biographical form (5 points) and short skill-a-thon quiz to test knowledge of the Iowa pork industry (10 points).

The top three scorers will receive a $4,000 scholarship, a plaque and the title of Premier Pork Youth Ambassador. The female contestant with the highest score will be crowned as the Iowa Pork Queen for 2021. Spectators are not permitted at the competition.
