No students were injured in a crash involving a West Central Valley school bus Friday.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. Friday when a school bus was slowing down to drop off a student on Wagon Road outside Stuart when it was struck from behind by a red Ford Ranger pickup that was driven by 24-year-old Ryan Gross of Linden. No one was injured in the crash. Gross was cited for following too closely. He told authorities that he did not see the brake lights from the bus due to sun glare.

The bus suffered $1,000 in damages from the crash.
