
The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night in regular session.
The Council will hold two public hearings for a general obligation refunding loan agreement for existing loans and a taxable general obligation urban renewal loan agreement, with the Council to then consider approving the resolution to enter into both loan agreements following the respective hearings. Additionally, the Council will consider approving a promotion to the rank of sergeant for the police department, an agreement with Doc’s Stadium for the lease of an alley, an addendum to a professional service agreement with Bolton and Menk for the wastewater treatment facility plan, along with two professional service agreements with the engineering firm to prepare a risk and resilience assessment and emergency response plan, as well as preliminary design, final design and construction services for the improvement project of the wastewater plant.
The Council will also receive an update on the potential for financing the animal shelter project, hearing a request for a nuisance abatement at 407 South Olive Street, and set two public hearings for an interim loan and disbursement agreement for the wastewater treatment plant upgrades and adoption of the 2022 fiscal year budget. Finally, the Council will set the date for its budget workshop for the 2022 fiscal year.
