While vaccinations continue for long-term care residents and staff, as well as healthcare and EMS workers, more groups will become vaccinated in the future.
Dallas County Health Department Public Information Officer Ann Cochran says as more people become vaccinated, including law enforcement, school employees, among others, it’s important to understand how those vaccines will be distributed.
“Some of the school districts may choose to partner with a pharmacy the same as the nursing homes are doing. So school employees will be instructed by their supervisor where and when they should schedule their appointment.”
While there are other members of the Phase 1-B group of vaccinations Cochran says those who will be a part of that group will know when they are to schedule their vaccinations.
