While the coronavirus pandemic may have slowed the marketing process down for the City of Perry, a new branding campaign will soon be released.
City Administrator Sven Peterson says the City, Perry Economic Development, and the Perry Chamber of Commerce have worked on the campaign for more than one year, and it’s almost time for it to be presented.
“We are looking at unveiling that the first week of February. So, we will have it out for the BRR (Bike Ride to Rippey) ride as well as a new look for our city newsletter coming out the first couple of days of February. We will also do kind of a grand unveiling at the council meeting February 1st so that’ll be fun and exciting to officially launch that brand.”
Peterson notes the implementation of the new branding campaign will bring various changes with it that residents and visitors will be able to see around town including street pole banners and new welcome signs.
Peterson says there will be more projects done in the future as well that will fit with the marketing campaign.
