The seven current members of the Heart of Iowa conference will make one final vote today to determine if the conference will accept Perry’s bid to become an 8th member of the conference as soon as next season.  Each individual school district has conducted a vote and now one more vote and consensus is needed for the Heart of Iowa to expand.  Perry started the paperwork to leave the Raccoon River Conference this past fall and felt the Heart of Iowa would be a suitable location.  Raccoon Valley Radio will continue to monitor this story.
