The Perry City Council approved accepting and authoring the necessary agreements, forms, and letters for a Community Development Block Grant at their regular meeting Tuesday. 

The grant, in the amount of $600,000, will assist in the payment for the improvements of the wastewater treatment facility. Also, the Board approved authorizing the sale of unused and outdated equipment. The equipment is a 2003 Ford P71 police interceptor from the Perry Parks and Recreation Department.
