The district large group speech competition will take place at Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School tomorrow at 5 p.m.

While it will look different than a normal year, Speech Coach Jacque Seidl says ADM will be doing their own large group district competition and have brought in their own judge to allow for live performances. Seidl talks about how rehearsals have been. 

“Overall, I would say that practice has been going really well given the circumstances. Kids are just so great, they are so flexible and willing to adapt because they are just so grateful we get to have a season whatever the season gets to look like. So they are really excited to get to perform.”

ADM students will compete in choral reading, reader’s theater, group improvisation, short film, musical theater, radio news, t.v. news and ensemble acting. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only parents are allowed to attend the competition.
