The Greene County Democratic Party recently made a monetary donation to the local food pantry.

The Iowa Democratic Party encouraged all county organizations to participate in the Iowa Democrats Care Day for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 18th. They wanted the county Democratic parties to host a food drive or support an organization that fights hunger in their counties. In honor of that, the Greene County Democratic Party donated $1,000 to the Greene County Action Resource Center in Jefferson this past week.
