Childcare and those in the workforce can now apply for funds to expand their futures.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds recently announced the Employer Innovation and Child Care Challenge Fund opportunities, totaling $1.2 million in available funding. The Employer Innovation Fund is designed to allow for Iowans to earn post-secondary credentials, which can lead to high-demand jobs. The Child Care Challenge Fund is for regional and community projects for increasing child care space in local communities by supporting the development, renovation or rehabilitation of child care facilities.
Applications for either program must be submitted by February 12th on IowaGrants.gov. The two programs are part of the governor’s Future Ready Iowa Initiative. Click the links below to access either program.
