Midwest Partnership Economic Development of Adair and Guthrie Counties still has low-interest revolving loan funds available for local businesses.

Funds are provided through the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act through Region XII Council of Governments. Programs that qualify for the funds will have a zero-percent interest rate for the first two years and two-percent for the remaining term, up to 10 years.

The loan can be used to purchase a building, machinery, equipment, inventory or use as working capital. All applications must include information on jobs created or retained by the project, and the goal is for one job to be created or retained for every $50,000 loaned.
