Thursday, December 31st

5:41am: A deputy received information that Jonathan Kennedy 33 of Grand Junction was at Casey’s in Grand Junction. Jonathan was wanted for Burglary 2nd degree, theft 2nd degree, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense. Jonathan was located at Caseys and was found in possession of stolen property from Casey’s and suspected methamphetamines and marijuana. Jonathan was arrest on the warrants and charges are pending for the controlled substances and stolen property that were on his person.

7:06am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint 220th Street near S Avenue.

8:10am: Jonathan Kennedy 33 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for burglary 2nd degree, theft 2nd degree, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense.

4:29pm: A deputy assisted with a medical issue on 220th Street near 210th Street.

9:06pm: A deputy and the Departmental K-9 assisted a Jefferson Police Officer on 220th Street and N Avenue with a free air search of a vehicle. Suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located in the car. Elizabeth Roper 18 of Churdan was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

10:05pm: Elizabeth Roper 18 of Churdan was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:59pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with teenagers at Henderson Park after hours.

Friday, December 1st

1:40am: Danielle Dalton 37 of Jamaica was booked into the jail for driving while barred.

2:29am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a traffic stop on 220th Street and Mulberry Street.

2:40am: A deputy investigated a dog running at large complaint in the 300 block of West Hager Street, Grand Junction.

1:29pm: A deputy assisted with putting a cow back in the fence on 220th Street near A Avenue.

6:37pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on E Avenue near 330th Street.

7:45pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on 220th Street near Kirkwood Avenue.

8:16pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on Neola Avenue near 280th Street.

9:17pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 305th Street and V Avenue.

Saturday, December 2nd

12:07pm: A deputy and Grand Junction Fire responded to a car fire on Elizabeth Street and 15th Street, Grand Junction. Charles Kaufaman 56 of Perry was cited for no insurance and driving while suspended. The 1994 Toyota Camry had smoke and fire damage. The estimated damage was around 500 dollars. The cause is unknown.

12:56pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 900 block of 110th Street.

Sunday, December 3rd

9:23am: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 200 block of Cartwright Street, Rippey.

10:03pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a transient at Sparky’s.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
