West Central Valley Wildcat athletics had a wild 2020 year of athletics but saw some great accomplishments from both a team and individual standpoints as well.
From a team standpoint, WCV was able to make some big strides with their girls basketball team picking up their first winning season in a decade, the football team picking up their first win in nearly two year, and the wrestling team able to have multiple wrestlers have success in the West Central Activities Conference.
From an individual standpoint, Justin Garcia was able to make it to state in wrestling and pick up a win as well, and freshmen Taitlin Koch was able to make it to her first state cross country meet.
Unfortunately none of the spring athletics were able to be held due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but Wildcat athletes remained tough and were able to find some success.
They will be looking for more success in the 2021 year.
