The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is asking for public input on its2020 draft list of impaired water. 

The impaired waters list includes supporting, uses not assessed, waterbody segments not assessed, waters in need of further investigation, along with other details that can be found here. The DNR will accept public comments until January 1st. Then following the public comment period, the draft list will be revised and forwarded to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for approval or disapproval.
