A semi-tractor fire near a Grand Junction business results in property damage.
Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams says a deputy, along with Grand Junction and Jefferson fire departments responded to the incident at 11pm Saturday in the 400 block of North 18th Street. Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio a semi-tractor had caught fire somewhere in the engine, and it was severely damaged by the time they got on scene. The fire then spread to at least three nearby trailers, causing severe damage, while the semi-tractor was considered to be a total loss. The property is owned by Doug Moranville.
Williams adds, no one was injured in the incident and the cause of the fire is undetermined, due to the amount of damage that was caused.
