7:37am: Deputies and Jefferson Police Department assisted with a medical call in the 500 block of Hickory Lane, Jefferson.

8:33am: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 1200 block of Main Street, Scranton.

9:22am: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 270th Street near J Avenue.

11:06am: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 220th Street and R Avenue. The passengers and the driver all fled from the scene. The Departmental K-9 indicated on the car and a search warrant was later conducted on the vehicle. Suspected marijuana, methamphetamines, and drug paraphernalia were seized. This case is under investigation.

1:57pm: A deputy attempted to stop a gold mini van on 222nd Street and R Avenue. The vehicle fled and was later stopped. The driver Joe Blackmon 43 of Jefferson was arrested for driving while barred. The passenger Brandon Kious 37 of Jefferson was also arrested for an arrest warrant for theft 2nd degree. Brandon was in possession of stolen property from several burglaries in Greene County. Charges are pending and the case is still under investigation.

2:22pm: The Sheriff observed Ryan Patterson 40 of Jefferson at Casey’s General Store in Jefferson. Ryan had arrest warrants and fled on foot from Casey’s and was apprehended by the Sheriff in the 400 block of North Maple Street. At the residence stolen property was located from several burglaries around Jefferson. Gilbert Montgomery 64 of Jefferson was also arrested for interference with official acts. The Jefferson Police Department is investigating the stolen property.

2:37pm: Ryan Patterson 40 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for two mittimus arrest warrants.

4:00pm: Joe Blackmon 43 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for driving while barred.

4:27pm: Gilbert Montgomery 64 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for interference with official acts.

4:38pm: The Sheriff, deputies, and the Jefferson Police Department assisted with a medical call in the 1000 block of East Lincolnway.

5:07pm: Brandon Kious 37 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for theft 2nd degree.

5:14pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 300 block of 4th Street, Rippey.

9:16pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1900 block of 130 th Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
