A Jefferson teen was recently sentenced to probation for a sexual incident with a minor.

According to court documents, 19-year-old Devin Villalobos pled guilty to lesser charges of two aggravated misdemeanors for indecent contact with a child. He had a two-year prison sentence suspended and was placed on probation for two years. 

The charges stem from an investigation by the Jefferson Police Department that began on January 20th. During the investigation, Villalobos admitted to commiting sex acts against a then 13-year-old female. 

Villalobos must also register as a sex offender, there is a five-year no contact order with the victim and he must also pay fines and surcharges. As per the plea agreement, Villalobos had the original charge of a Class C Felony for third-degree sexual abuse amended to the two aggravated misdemeanor charges.
