The West Central Valley Wildcats took on a good team in ACGC for both the boys and the girls on Tuesday night, and they were unable to get a victory on both the girls side and the boys side.
The girls fell by the score of 52-31 as they struggled to hit shots down the stretch, after it being a single digit lead at halftime. WCV was able to play some really good defense in the first half and force the issue, but couldn’t get as many stops in the second half to fall to their Guthrie County Rival.
On the boys side, WCV couldn’t slow down the ACGC attack as they fell in a tough contest 79-34. The Chargers were able to get some good looks throughout the night, and WCV despite decent ball movement couldn’t get shots to go in. WCV will be hoping to take the next step and know that won’t be easy in the conference, but will need to find ways to get stops as the season continues after the winter break.
This is the final game of the Wildcats for both teams for the 2020 season, they will return to the court for the new year after a nice holiday break and some more practices under their belt as well.
