Dallas Center – Grimes Mustangs football player Zach Brand got a big offer about his football future, as he got an offer to be a preferred walk on at Iowa State.

Brand has been a monster on the football field throughout his career with 2,026 career yards, 2020 district offensive MVP, 2019 3rd team all state, and 2020 2nd team all state. Brand was a huge running back for the Mustangs, as his combination of speed and strength made it very difficult for opposing teams to slow down the talented player throughout his career.

Brand was apart of numerous success DCG teams, including a trip to the state quarterfinals in 2019 and a team that was at one point ranked number one in the state in 2020.

Iowa State is continuing to rise as a program as they will be playing in the Big 12 championship game on Saturday against Oklahoma. Brand has received interest from various schools regarding continuing his football career, and whoever get this kid will get an excellent talent.
