The previously unbeaten Panorama girls basketball team suffered their first loss Tuesday.

The Panthers made the trip to Van Meter to take on a hungry Bulldog team. Van Meter got out of the gates strong jumping out to a 11-3 lead after the first quarter. While the Panthers clawed their way back over the next few quarters, the deficit was too much to overcome as Van Meter won 42-38.

Panorama will look to get back on track Friday when AC/GC comes to town.
