Wednesday, December 9th

12:50am: While on patrol, an officer located a male subject standing outside of a local church. The Pastor was contacted, and they arranged for a hotel room for the subject.

3:26am: An officer checked on the ATM in the 200 Block of West State Street after dispatch received an Alarm. The machine was found to be secure and appeared to be fine.

11:24am: Ron Mahoney called and advised he had captured a Stray Dog outside of Jefferson and wanted to meet an officer at the Animal Holding Facility. The officer placed the animal in the pound.

12:33pm: Officers were called to a residence in the 100 Block of North Olive for an unstable female. The officers spent time trying to coax the female to ER, but were unsuccessful in doing so. The officers were forced to take the female to ER against her will and became involved in a brief struggle with her in the yard. EMS was called to assist in transporting the female after numerous attempts to get her into the patrol vehicle. The patient continued to be disruptive with ER Staff and the officer had to assist staff for several hours. Due to the situation, no criminal charges of assault will be pursued against the patient.

1:09pm: Officers were requested at 1000 West Adams Street for an unwanted female at the complex. Jefferson officers were involved in the previous entry and a deputy took this call for service.

5:13pm: Tina Sparks spoke to an officer about a Civil Issue occurring at 307 North Locust Street.

9:04pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and 250th Street resulted in Daniel Madsen of Jefferson being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
