The Churdan Library is hosting a pair of upcoming events.
Due to the pandemic, the library’s annual auction is moving completely online. Donations of new or gently used items along with gift baskets and homemade items will be accepted through tomorrow. Items will then be up for bid December 14th-19th, where people can place bids either on the library’s Facebook page or by calling the library. Appointments can also be scheduled for people to see the items in person at the library.
The winners of the auction will be announced during the Churdan Lion’s Club Santa Drawing on December 19th. The drawing will be held at Churdan resident John McCormick’s farm in order to promote social distancing. Santa will be on hand for the drawing of donated prizes for newborns to 12-year-olds. Registration for the drawing will be at 12:30pm, with the drawing to start at 1pm. McCormick’s farm is located on Beecher Street in Churdan.
