The Perry girls basketball team is having a tough time handling the ball after the first two games. Perry ran into a very young, and inexperienced Carlisle team Tuesday night falling to the Wildcats 68-26. Carlisle had four first year starters in their lineup while Perry featured three new additions. The Wildcats opened up the game on a 21-4 run and pulled away to a 33-14 halftime lead. The Jayettes struggled mightily with the full court pressure, committing over 25 turnovers through the first three quarters. Lydia Olejniczak led the Perry offense with 12 points while Katherine West provided a spark off the bench with 4 points. Perry will get a break from the Raccoon River Conference tomorrow night when they travel to Stuart.
