Dallas County recently received grant money from the Iowa Finance Authority to support local housing initiatives. 

The Dallas County Local Housing Trust Fund, Incorporated received $181,055 from the Local Housing Trust Fund program. Established in 2004, the Dallas County Local Housing Trust Fund assists County residents with housing repairs and correcting code violations for low-income households. 

Additionally, Greene and Guthrie counties along with Audubon, Carroll, Crawford and Sac counties were also awarded $235,872 toward the Council of Governments Housing programs. 

The Iowa Finance Authority awarded a total of 27 grants for a total of $7 million.
