The Jefferson Police Department has released its report from the latest special Traffic Enforcement Program (sTEP) Wave.

According to the report, from November 16th-29th, Jefferson Police Officers issued 34 citations and 78 warnings. The most citations that were issued were for speeding with 21, and the most warnings were for speeding and vehicle equipment violations, each with 25. Additionally, officers made one OWI alcohol-related and two OWI drug-related arrests, along with issuing citations for open container of alcohol, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and no proof of registration or insurance.
