The public is encouraged to cruise through the White Pole Road corridor for some holiday cheer over the next few weeks as part of the White Pole Road Development Corporation’s holiday lights contest.

The organization brought the contest back from a few years past to bring the communities of Dexter, Stuart, Menlo, Casey, and Adair together for some holiday fun and draw the attention of incoming visitors to frequent the corridor’s local businesses. Executive Director Tom Smull says judging takes place this week for all of the businesses and homes that posted a photo of their decorated display and tagged the White Pole Road on Facebook. The winners will be notified on December 14th, with first place receiving a $50 gift certificate to Pioneers Pub & Grub in Casey, second place winning a $35 gift certificate from Zipp’s Pizzaria in Adair, and third place winning a $25 gift certificate to Pioneers as well.
