The Adair County Health System has recently announced the addition of a new provider.

Dr. Sharon Bertroche will be caring for patients at the Family Practice Clinic in Greenfield, as well as in urgent care and the health system’s emergency room. Bertroche earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, and was a family practice physician at a private practice in Marion for 28 years. In 2016, Bertroche became a faculty member of MercyOne’s Family Practice Residency Program in Des Moines, where she received a Faculty of the Year Award in 2019.

Health System CEO Marcia Hendricks says “As the need for healthcare services in our community has continued to rise, we have worked to expand our capacity to serve more patients and to provide specialized care in the area of women’s health.” She says ACHS is very excited to have Dr. Bertroche, and that she will be a tremendous asset to ACHS and the entire community.
