Guthrie Center residents in need of food assistance now have access to a free 24/7 pantry thanks to an Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center student organization.

The ACGC Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapter advised by teacher Cathy Lange installed a “Blessing Box” food pantry in late November, located near the Guthrie County Freedom Rock site on Highway 44 across from Mitchell Park. The students received the Guthrie Center City Council’s approval in September to install the box, which is welcome for anyone to take or drop off food donations.
