The Dallas Center – Grimes Mustangs wrestling team will be on the mat for the first time this year when they travel to Norwalk to take on the Warriors. DCG is coming off an appearance as a team at the state tournament a year ago at the 3A level, and they will be hoping to duplicate the same success for this upcoming season. Coach Cory Stratton has traditionally had teams that are tough physically and mentally, and things are expected to be no different this year for this Mustang team.

DCG will have a good mix of both experience and youth on the roster this year, and know that these matches, especially in December, will be great experiences and ones that they can learn from either win or lose. DCG will be focused on how much effort their wrestlers show tonight, and how quickly they can adapt when challenges ensue for this first meet.

The match will be happening in Norwalk tonight, with the meet to begin at 6:30. It should be a great first challenge against a fellow Little Hawkeye Conference Foe.
