A reminder of an event tonight in Jefferson that aims to brighten up everyone’s holiday spirit. 

The Christmas Tree Lighting event is sponsored by the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board and will take place at the Welcome Center starting at 6pm. Holiday music will be performed, followed by the lighting of the Christmas tree. Santa Claus will make a rooftop appearance on top of the Welcome Center at 6:15pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Santa will not be able to visit with children.

Attendees can also participate in the Tag-A-Tree event tonight as well. Anyone can write down a wish, along with their name and phone number. If your wish is chosen, you will receive $25 in Chamber Checks from Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community. Submissions for that will be accepted through December 10th.
