The West Central Valley Wildcats teams were able to get some key practice under their belts yesterday, as they will be getting ready for their first games of the season, with basketball and wrestling all projected to get going this week.

The boys basketball team will get going this week, with their first game of the season slated to be on Thursday when they take on Glidden – Ralston, the wrestling team will also be competing on that same day when they take on ACGC, East Union, and Nodaway Valley at ACGC High School. The girls basketball team will be competing for the first time this Friday when they take on West Central Activities Conference foe in the Ogden Bulldogs at West Central Valley high school. The boys will also be playing that night as well.

It should be an entertaining week for Wildcat athletics, as they hope to put up a good showing in front of their fans at the various events.
