The Panora Chamber of Commerce is holding their annual Breakfast with Santa and Santa’s Workshop event this year, though to protect the health of residents it will be held in a “to-go” fashion with a new main entree.

Santa Claus will be greeting children in front of the town gazebo with the help of the local fire department, and Lakeside Village will be selling breakfast burritos for $3 each, two for $5, and the “mega burrito” for $5. Proceeds from the sales will go toward the City’s holiday lighting fund. Chamber member Julie Wykoff says this is also a good time to check out the season’s offerings from downtown businesses, “And after you’ve taken your kids to see Santa and have a breakfast burrito don’t forget to stop into your local stores and check out what their weekend specials are. I’m sure with it being Christmas time there’s going to be a lot of fun things happening as well as a lot of sales and bargains.”

Kids will also be given a craft package to enjoy making at home. Breakfast with Santa and Santa’s Workshop will last from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 5th in Panora.
