The Iowa High School football season ended late last week inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. Greene County has been done since Oct. 30 after going 7-3 with little varsity experience returning from 2019. Conversely, the 2021 Rams should have a lot of players back that saw varsity time this fall.

Offensive Coordinator Cole Jaeschke talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the offseason. “I’m anxious to see our kids develop. It sounds like our new weight room (at the high school) may not be completely done, but is progressing with weight equipment in there pretty soon. We’re chomping at the bit to get our guys back in the weight room on a consistent basis. We’ve had a lot of inconsistencies, not only with COVID, but with new facilities, and everything along that line, so we didn’t get a really solid core lifting program in the last 12 months. And, we weren’t the only ones. A lot of schools went through that. But, I’m really excited to see our kids develop, and we have a ton of production coming back across the board, so it’s going to be an exciting future for us, but our guys have to put in the work.”

Cade Duncan is the head coach, and he’s also the strength and conditioning coordinator for the school district.
