West Central Valley Wildcat wrestling will be on the mat today for their first practice of the season, as they hop to put together a solid 2020-21 year.
WCV has a good amount of talent coming back, though they will have to replace a pair of 29 win wrestlers in Weston Pote and Justin Garcia from a year ago, with both graduating. The Wildcats have good wrestlers in the program still which includes Blaise Beane, Wesley Ganoe, Braiden Beane, and Cael Carl. These four wrestlers for able to combine for 94 wins from a season ago, and all believe they should tally more this season.
The Wildcats have been putting together a lot of work throughout the fall with their offseason training workouts, and have had very good numbers, which is definitely a good sign for a program that is continuing to move in the right direction.
The Wildcats will be looking to put together what should be a very unique season, as they hope to put together a great first week of practice in preparation for the season.
