An annual holiday tradition in Perry is officially on the books for the final Friday in November.
The annual lighted parade organized by the Perry Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for Friday, November 27th. The holiday celebration will take place throughout the evening as various businesses will stay open later than usual. The parade lineup will start at 6 p.m. at 2nd Street and Otley Street. At 7 o’clock, the lights in downtown Perry will be turned off to let the various vehicles and floats shine. The Raccoon Valley Radio Big Red Radio will also be among the many lighted entries during the parade. The downtown activities will wrap up for the night at around 10 p.m.
