In the game of basketball, if you want to be a top player, you have to have the ability to score the basketball at a high rate. For West Central Valley junior player Madelyn Jaeger, she was a player who was very good at scoring last year, but is hoping to take the next step this year and be great.

The junior guard was able to average 12.5 PPG on the season, a very good mark for a sophomore, but the rising junior will be searching for more this year. She was able to score in a wide variety of ways, getting to the bucket with ease and also shooting the three well with 40 made shots last year. She also was good at creating shots as well, as Jaeger was second on the team in assists with 41 on the season, and is looking at adding to that total even more this year.

The Wildcats will be looking for their second consecutive winning season, and one of the main keys for the Wildcats team will be this talented junior taking the next step and continuing to get better throughout the season.
