One person was injured in a two-vehicle wreck near Perry Wednesday night.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, just after 9 p.m. Wednesday, Zachariah Wallway of Rochester, Minnesota was traveling southbound on Highway 169 just north of Highway 141 when he veered into the opposite lane and struck a vehicle driven by Aubrey Payne of Panora. One passenger in Wallway’s vehicle was transported by Dallas County EMS ambulance to Dallas County Hospital with minor injuries. Wallway was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road and failure to provide proof of financial liability. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office was aided at the scene by Dallas County EMS, Bouton Fire, and Woodward Fire.
