The second-story project at Home State Bank in Jefferson continues to make progress.
President Sid Jones says the exterior of the expansion has the support columns built, the windows are being installed and the drive-thru portion is nearly done. He talks about the interior of the second floor.
“There’s a lot of walls being built upstairs. The flooring is all done, the ceiling is done, all of those aluminium stud walls are going in place that outline each of the offices. The next phase there will be electrical and data, get that in, and then the final drywall will happen to kind of start closing that in. So things are moving at a very fast pace.”
Jones appreciates everyone’s patience as they continue with the project that was originally announced in June of 2018. Jones anticipates having the project completed by the end of this year.
