Guthrie County’s unofficial results are in for the 2020 general election.
For the County’s two contested races, Republican Dani Fink received the most votes with 78.72% of the vote while Hans Erickson received 21.10%, and for County Supervisor District 5 Republican incumbent Mike Dickson received 55.04% of the vote while Democrat Eric Tiernan received 44.43%. For State Senator District 10, Republican incumbent Jake Chapman received the most votes from all reported counties with 24,469 while Democrat Warren Varley received 14,663. With all the counties tabulated for State Representative District 20 Republican incumbent Ray Sorensen received the most votes with 10,817 while Democrat Ryan Morrison received 4,153.
With all the counties reported for U.S. Representative District 3, Democrat incumbent Cindy Axne received more votes with 218,968 versus Republican David Young with 212,727. Guthrie County’s results are unofficial until a canvassing by the Board of Supervisors at their November 10th meeting. You can find the full results for Guthrie, Adair, and Cass counties below.
