ADMs Nate Mueller was able to put a bow on his 2020 cross country season, ending his career as a repeat state champion and cementing himself as one of the greatest runners in ADM history. Mueller was able to run a phenomenal time of 15 minutes and 28 seconds, not just the fastest time in the boys 3A race, but in the entire state of Iowa as well.
Sioux City North’s Jaysen Bouwers ran a time of 15 minutes and 31 seconds and was crowned the 4A champion, Tipton’s Caleb Shumaker was able to run a time of 16 minutes and 13 seconds as the champion in the boys 2A race, and Bellevue’s Brady Griebel was able to win the 1A race with a time of 15 minutes and 52 seconds.
All of these runners were able to run some incredible times for all of these races as state champions, and we congratulate them all on their work this year. Mueller will be looking to continue to get great times next year, when he will run cross country at Iowa State University.
