Additional information has been released by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office regarding the location of a missing teenager.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 15-year-old MacKenzie Lyons has been returned to her family safe and unharmed. Lyons was reported missing Friday evening after she was last seen getting into a Honda Accord that afternoon in Adel. On Monday, the Sheriff’s Office contacted the Omaha Nation Law Enforcement Agency in Nebraska at 5:30pm. They requested a check for Lyons at a residence in their jurisdiction. 

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office in Nebraska found Lyons and returned her to her family in Iowa. There is no ongoing investigation. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
