Guthrie County titles, state and federal legislative seats, and other races are on the ballot for today’s general election.

For the County, Republican incumbent Dani Fink is running against Democrat Hans Erickson for County Auditor, and Republican incumbent Mike Dickson is running against Democrat Eric Tiernan for District 5 Supervisor. In state legislative races, Republican incumbent Ray Sorensen is running against Democrat Ryan Morrison for House District 20, and Republican incumbent Jake Chapman is running against Democrat Warren Varley for Senate District 10. For congressional races, Democrat incumbent Cindy Axne is running against Republican David Young for Iowa’s Third District, and Republican incumbent Joni Ernst is running against Democrat Theresa Greenfield for U.S. Senate. Polls close at 9 p.m. today and absentee ballots can be turned into the Auditor’s Office until that time as well.
