West Central Valley Wildcats fall sports have officially come to a close after a wild couple of months that saw a lot of different accomplishments for these teams and individuals.

The volleyball team was able to achieve a non losing season for the first time in many years, as they finished 13-13 on the year with a very young team. The Wildcats started the season winless in their first six games, but were able to start putting things together as the season went along and really found their grove as they got into the month of October.

The football team was able to record their first win in nearly two years after defeating Eagle Grove in week 2. Despite that being the only win of the season for the Wildcats, they were able to get better week by week and there was much improvement from the year before. The program is definitely moving in the right direction.

The Wildcats cross country team were able to get some great performances throughout the season, and were led by a freshmen in Taitlin Koch who was able to get to state on her first try, a great feat for the young runner.

The Wildcats will be looking for more success in their winter sports, after a productive fall season.
