Dallas County has reported three new COVID-19 related deaths as numbers throughout the state spike.
According to the State Dashboard Friday, Dallas County has 141 new cases since Tuesday increasing their total to 3,631, ninth-most in the State. There have been 2,871 recoveries and 47 deaths. Dallas County has a 9.3% 14-day positivity rate. According to Greene County Public Health Friday, there are 79 active cases, 204 total, and zero deaths in the County. Greene County is at a 5.8% 14-day positive average.
According to the Guthrie and Adair County Dashboard Friday, Guthrie County reported one new positive case since Tuesday, increasing their total to 408. They also have 262 recoveries and 15 deaths. Guthrie County has an 11.8%,14-day positivity average. Adair County has four new cases since Tuesday, increasing their total to 181 with 74 recoveries and one death. Adair County has a 13.9% 14-day positivity rate.
Statewide, there were 1,305 new positive cases Thursday, setting a new record. There are a total of 125,182 cases, with 92,408 recoveries and 1,706 deaths. Of the 965,729 people that have been tested, 838,883 were negative, a 12.5% positivity rate.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 148 hospitalized patients, 28 in Intensive Care Units, and 19 admitted in the last 24 hours.
