There are several Beggars Night and Halloween festivities taking place this evening throughout Dallas County.
The City of Adel will be having their Beggar’s Night from 6-8 p.m. this evening. Baker Street in Minburn will be closed from 6-8 p.m. Saturday for their Trunk or Treat event. Dallas County Public Health reminds families to keep COVID-19 concerns in mind as they hit their trick-or-treating route. The typical Halloween costume mask won’t offer the same kind of droplet protection a standard cloth face mask does.
Parents are also encouraged to inspect their kids’ candy once they get home. Discard any treats that are partially opened and if you suspect anything has been tampered with, contact law enforcement. Even if you’re not on the streets trick-or-treating, drivers need to have an extra eye out for kids in neighborhoods tonight.
