Two Greene County High School students have qualified for the Iowa High School Music Association All-State Music Festival.

Seniors Makenna Fox qualified for all-state as second alto and Clayton Peters qualified as a second tenor. Six other Greene County students auditioned for choir, but didn’t qualify for all-state. Last year, Peters was recalled but didn’t make it to all-state. Due to COVID-19, the audition process was changed with having all entries submitted electronically and choir students had to audition individually, rather than a small group.

IHSMA Executive Director Alan Greiner tells Raccoon Valley Radio the All-State Music Festival has been cancelled this year due to COVID-19.
