The Perry Public Library is beginning to transition back into their building as the remodeling project is nearly finished.
Library staff has been able to move back into the building as contractors have finished the offices. There are still some final items being worked on, and the building remains closed to the public. Curbside services will now be handled on the east side of the library.
Starting next week, the Perry Public Library is offering a new children’s virtual program called Books and Bites. Children in first and second grade will be able to participate over zoom. Librarian Suzanne Kestel will read a story and demonstrate how to make the snack provided in the recipe kit for participants. The program and kits are free, but registration is required as the event is limited to 15 participants. Sign up by calling the library at 515-465-3569.
