Both the Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls cross country teams will be competing up in Fort Dodge today for their state race in class 3A for both the boys and girls.

Both of these teams both will have a solid shot at winning the state title, with both teams each having three different state ranked runners, as DCG definitely has the talent to compete in and potentially in both the boys and/or girls race as well. With both teams ranked in the top three and these runners taking on some outstanding competition in the past, they believe they have the physical and mental ability to put together a great race this afternoon.

The Mustangs and Fillies will be focused on putting together great races today, and will also have some individual runners that will be looking to get some individual hardware as well with a talented runner in Aidan Ramsey on the boys side, who is one of the best on the boys side in 3A.

The first race will be for the girls at 3:30 and the boys to follow at 4:00 from Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge.
