Tuesday, October 27th

3:09am: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Oakland Ave. resulted in Jeffrey Specht of Coon Rapids being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

3:38am: A Traffic Stop in the 2000 Block of 220th Street resulted in Tanner Hagar of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

11:03am: Bomgaars reported (2) Returned Checks from a transaction at the business on 10/06/2020. The checks came back on a Closed Account and totaled over $675.00. The officer provided the business with a 10 Day Notice of Bad Check Form to be served on the subject. If the subject ignores the notice, it becomes a Theft, and the officer will move forward with charges.

2:18pm: A caller advised of a vehicle spinning donuts at the Little League Complex near Clark and Pinet Streets. The vehicle was not located by the officer.

3:32pm: A caller advised of a Stray Dog running loose near Lincoln Way and Elm Streets. The officer was unable to locate the reported animal.

4:50pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 500 Block of North West Street for, “Truck/RV/Trailer Violation.”

6:36pm: A caller requested Extra Patrol in the 300 Block of East Lincoln Way Street.

7:45pm:, A caller advised of the smell of Natural Gas in the 700 Block of South Chestnut Street. The officer checked the area, but did not smell anything out of the ordinary.

11:55pm: Dan Robison reported the electrical fuse box at 912 West Mahlon Street was on fire. Robinson had put the electrical fire out before the officer arrived. Jefferson Fire arrived to assist.
